Bachehaye Khiyaban (2004)

Bachehaye Khiyaban is an Iranian drama following Saman, a once-celebrated writer who abandoned his literary ambitions after marrying Mojgan. Pressured by her father, he pursued business success instead, only to find himself spiritually adrift. Seeking lost peace, Saman returns to his father's empty house after two years of separation from his wife. What he discovers there unsettles him: two teenagers have turned the abandoned home into a hub for criminal activity. The film explores the collision between Saman's search for redemption and the moral chaos unfolding within the walls of his childhood refuge, questioning what it costs to abandon one's true calling for conventional success.
