The Poisoner(2006)

The Poisoner is a French crime series set in post-war Loudun, where Marie Besnard's life unravels after her husband Leon dies under suspicious circumstances. When a woman claiming to be Leon's mistress alleges he accused Marie of poisoning him on his deathbed, the town turns against her. Marie is arrested and charged not only with Leon's murder but with the deaths of twelve other family members.
