Great Expectations(1981)

Great Expectations is a drama series following orphan Pip as he learns from lawyer Mr. Jaggers that a mysterious benefactor intends to transform him into a gentleman. Reunited with his childhood patron Miss Havisham and her ward Estella—the beautiful woman he loves—Pip discovers a tragic household consumed by bitterness. Miss Havisham, abandoned at the altar decades earlier, has descended into madness and deliberately shaped Estella into an emotionally distant heartbreaker. As Pip navigates his sudden rise in fortune and his conflicted feelings for Estella, he must confront the dark consequences of ambition, love, and the secrets that bind them all together.
