Mein Leben & Ich(2001)

Mein Leben & Ich is a German sitcom that follows Alex Degenhardt, a student navigating the messy realities of teenage life. Created by Paula A. Roth and loosely inspired by ABC's My So-Called Life, the series balances Alex's relationships with her quirky friends Claudia and Niko against the chaos of her unconventional household. Her hippie parents Hendrik and Anke and younger brother Basti add further complications to her already complicated world. Produced by Sony Pictures and RTL Television, the show captures the humor and frustration of adolescence with warmth and wit. A sixth season was produced in 2006 but didn't air until 2009. The series also found audiences across Finland, France, and Spain.
