Asu no Hikari wo Tsukame(2010)

Asu no Hikari wo Tsukame is a Japanese drama series about Tanpopo Farm, a coastal rehabilitation facility for troubled youth—runaways, bullying victims, and those battling addiction. Its dedicated director, Kitayama Shuji, fights against town hostility and his own daughter's rejection to help these young people rebuild their lives. When Sakuragi Tsubasa arrives at the farm, he meets Sawaguchi Haruka, a charismatic high school basketball player hiding deep wounds. Haruka's mother has abandoned her, her father—a city councilman opposed to the farm—rejects her, and her peers torment her at school.
