Valiente(2012)

Valiente is a Philippine drama series that aired on TV5, a remake of the original five-year epic that explores love, hatred, vengeance, and friendship. The story follows two rival families—the Valiantes and Braganzas—whose destinies collide over claims of rightful inheritance. Gardo and Theo were once inseparable friends until ambition and family loyalty turned them into bitter enemies. The powerful matriarch Donya Trining manipulates events from the shadows, using her wealth and influence to control Gardo Valiente, who harbors a secret connection to the Braganza name. As old bonds shatter and new alliances form, the characters must navigate betrayal, redemption, and the true cost of revenge. The series stars JC de Vera, Oyo Boy Sotto, Niña Jose, Nadine Samonte, Jaclyn Jose, and Michael de Mesa, with direction by acclaimed filmmaker Joel Lamangan.
