Studenty(2005)

Studenty is a Soviet-era comedy series following Evgeny Korolev, a young student who arrives in Moscow and quickly becomes entangled in campus chaos. He befriends the well-meaning but trouble-prone Vladimir Kvakusha, while navigating romantic complications involving Sasha, a first-year student who pursues him, and Veronika, a third-year student he genuinely cares for. Veronika's relationship with Anton, however, is protected by the ambitious deputy dean Pavel Gusev, who manipulates university politics to undermine Dean Vesnovsky. When Gusev expels Evgeny from the dormitory, the young student must rely on Kvakusha's loyalty—though his friend's knack for creating disasters often makes situations worse. The series captures the humor and heartache of student life as Evgeny learns that friendship and love rarely follow simple paths.
