Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice(2006)

Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice is an Australian reality series that brought the British ice-dancing competition format to local audiences. Premiering on Nine Network in July 2006, the show featured celebrities performing on a specially built ice rink in Sydney's northwest suburbs, judged by the legendary British ice dancers Torvill and Dean. Model Jake Wall took the competition's sole title before the series was cancelled after just one season. Despite its high production costs, the show struggled to maintain strong ratings. A planned reunion special featuring all ten contestants and a guest appearance from Torvill and Dean was also shelved following the cancellation.
