Snow in August(2007)

Snow in August is a Korean drama about two people bound by hidden trauma and revenge. Three years after her son dies in a hit-and-run accident, Ban-suk leaves a rest home determined to make her unfaithful husband pay. She moves into the same apartment complex where he lives with his new partner, only to discover her neighbor is Dong-wu, a gym trainer she initially despises for his playboy ways. Their constant clashes soften when Ban-suk meets Dong-wu's young son and learns they share a common enemy in her husband. As Dong-wu helps Ban-suk heal from her grief, he falls for her—unaware that he holds a devastating secret connected to the tragedy that destroyed her life. The series explores how two wounded souls can find unexpected connection while circling the truth that could shatter everything.
