The Surgeon(2005)

The Surgeon is an Australian medical drama that aired on Network Ten in primetime slots and on RTÉ One in Ireland. Set at the fictional Sydney General Hospital, the series follows the professional and personal lives of its surgical staff. The first season comprised eight half-hour episodes exploring the high-stakes world of modern medicine. Despite its premise, The Surgeon failed to find an audience, drawing poor critical reception and insufficient ratings that prevented renewal for a second season.
