The Legend of Zu is a martial arts series centered on a dangerous power struggle and forbidden love. Lu Pao, a ruthless swordsman, hunts the Red Ghost Stone, a weapon of immense power guarded by the Sushan School, China's most prestigious martial arts institution. To protect it, the school's headmaster embeds the stone within Ding Yin, a gifted young swordsman sworn to stop Lu Pao and safeguard the world. Ding Yin trains relentlessly at Sushan, but his resolve fractures when he encounters Yu Wu Xing, Lu Pao's daughter, who bears an uncanny resemblance to his deceased wife.
