VIP Cop(2016)

VIP Cop is a Russian tragicomedy following Grisha Izmailov, a sharp-witted policeman assigned to Moscow's most exclusive neighborhood, Rublyovka. At thirty, Grisha is handsome, wealthy, and cynical—a cop who regularly bends the rules while investigating crimes involving the city's elite. He juggles protecting his troubled younger sister Nika from her own mistakes, enduring his exasperated boss Volodya's complaints, and navigating his complicated romantic life. While he effortlessly charms women like his girlfriend Christina, a sex worker, Grisha remains unable to win over Alena, the woman he truly loves. His loyal but hapless best friend Mukhich rounds out the crew. Grisha approaches his impossible job with dark humor and moral flexibility, turning everyday cases into absurd conflicts between duty and self-interest.
