Maryina Grove(2012)

Maryina Grove is a Russian drama series following Konstantin Troshin, a MURA operative returning from victory in the Great Patriotic War. Stripped of his police position after clashing with a powerful NKGB general, Troshin refuses to abandon law enforcement. He accepts a precinct officer role in Maryina Grove, Moscow's most impoverished neighbourhood, where he must navigate crime, corruption, and the harsh realities of post-war Soviet society. The series explores his struggle to maintain integrity and purpose in a system that has already betrayed him, set against the backdrop of a fractured city rebuilding itself.
