Girl Spirit(2016)

Girl Spirit is a South Korean reality singing competition that premiered on JTBC in July 2016. The show spotlights vocalists from twelve emerging girl groups, ranking contestants weekly based on their performances. Scores accumulate over twelve weeks to crown the top four finalists—two from each team. Selected performances are released digitally each week, building momentum toward the finale. The winner takes home a new car and digital release of their final song, while the runner-up receives a family vacation to Saipan plus their own digital single. Girl Spirit celebrates underrated talent in K-pop's competitive landscape, giving lesser-known groups a platform to break through.
