Blackbeard(2006)

Blackbeard is a historical drama set in 1717 Bristol, following Royal Navy Lieutenant Robert Maynard as he hunts the seas to restore safe passage through treacherous waters. His mission leads him to the West Indies, where he confronts Edward Teach, a fearsome pirate operating from the Island of St. Vincent. Teach, known as Blackbeard, has no intention of slowing down. Instead, he's driven by an obsessive quest to find and claim the legendary treasures of the notorious Captain Kidd. As Maynard closes in, the two men become locked in a dangerous game of pursuit and evasion, each determined to outmaneuver the other across the Caribbean seas.
