CWC World(2003)

CWC World is a Norwegian comedy series following the eccentric crew of Channel Wild Card as they defy bureaucratic shutdown. When the Ministry of Culture revokes their broadcast license, Finn Nissen, Regner Worm, and their ragtag team refuse to go dark. Instead, they launch their own satellite and continue beaming their chaotic show to audiences worldwide every evening. The series captures the absurdist spirit of the original local station, now operating from orbit as an underground media empire. It's a playful satire on creative persistence, institutional resistance, and the lengths people will go to keep their vision alive, no matter how ridiculous the solution becomes.
