A Tale of Two Sisters(2013)

A Tale of Two Sisters is a Korean drama about two adopted daughters whose lives intersect when their adoptive mother begins searching for her biological child. Choi Seyoung dreams of becoming a broadcaster like her idol Kim Ju Hui, while Lee Ye Rin, who was adopted by Kim Ju Hui years earlier, harbors the same ambition and a fierce attachment to her mother. When Kim Ju Hui launches a search for her lost daughter, the revelation sets off a chain of emotional conflicts among the four central characters: Seyoung, Lee Ye Rin, her devoted friend An Jeong Hyo, and Han Jae Sung, a producer at the broadcasting company whom Lee Ye Rin secretly loves. As secrets unravel and family bonds are tested, the drama explores themes of identity, belonging, and the complicated nature of motherhood and sisterhood.
