ROGUE(2018)

Rogue is a series that explores the dark machinations and eventual redemption of Himuro Gentoku, head of the Touto Institute of Advanced Matter Physics. Three years before the main events, Gentoku attempts to persuade his old friend Koji Hotei, an aide to the Touto Prime Minister, that their nation must strengthen its military defenses against threats from rival regions Hokuto and Seito. When Hotei rebuffs his warnings, Gentoku learns of a mysterious researcher whose work will alter his trajectory. The narrative traces how Gentoku's ambitions and moral compromises lead him down a dangerous path, ultimately setting the stage for his complex journey toward redemption and self-discovery.
