Baraka(2019)

Baraka is an Egyptian drama following a man from Upper Egypt struggling to survive in Cairo. Trapped in a cycle of debt, he borrows heavily from dangerous creditors and finds himself entangled with powerful figures who won't tolerate his defaults. His mother and a neighbor—who is also his romantic partner—become his only allies as he navigates the consequences of his choices. The series explores themes of poverty, desperation, and the fragile bonds that hold us together when everything else falls apart.
