Home Turf(2019)

Home Turf is a drama series following Sahara, a 15-year-old who arrives from Africa and is placed in a suburban foster home run by a woman called Auntie. The house already shelters four teenage girls who initially resent her arrival and make her adjustment difficult. As tensions simmer, the five girls gradually discover common ground and build an unexpected bond. The series explores themes of belonging, resilience, and found family as these young women navigate the challenges of foster care and learn to support one another. Home Turf captures both the friction and warmth that emerge when strangers become sisters.
