Cantando por un sueño
Cantando por un Sueño is a Mexican television singing competition that paired celebrities with everyday people competing for life-changing prizes. Contestants performed before a panel of renowned Latin American judges, with winners receiving funds for medical treatments, surgeries, and financial relief for those facing blindness, deafness, paralysis, and other serious hardships. Thalía served as the show's godmother and performed the theme song. Produced by Canal de las Estrellas and broadcast on Univision in the United States, the series ran for three seasons of roughly seven episodes each. A fourth season, titled "Reyes de la Canción," brought back the top finishers from all three seasons for a championship competition. The format mirrored its sister show Bailando por un Sueño, which featured dance instead of singing.
