Kurs mod nord(2019)

Kurs mod nord is a documentary series following Mikkel, Marian and their sons as they pursue a lifelong dream of sailing north to explore pristine nature and wildlife. The family purchases an aging Swedish rescue ship, the Wallenberg, believing it will safely carry them through treacherous ice and towering waves. What unfolds is a grueling test of determination and family bonds as the couple discovers the ship requires far more restoration work than anticipated. The series captures their struggle to transform the vessel into a seaworthy explorer while navigating the physical and emotional demands of such an ambitious undertaking. It's an intimate portrait of adventure, sacrifice and the true cost of chasing dreams in one of the world's harshest environments.
