Janus no Kagami(2019)

Janus no Kagami is a psychological drama series following Ozawa Hiromi, a second-year high school student trapped under her grandmother Takako's oppressive control. When Hiromi faints one day, she awakens to discover she shares her body with Yumi, a personality that embodies everything Hiromi is not—free-spirited, bold, and uninhibited. As the two consciousnesses clash for dominance, Hiromi must grapple with the emergence of this alter ego and find a way to regain control of her own life. The series explores themes of identity, autonomy, and the psychological toll of repression, blending supernatural elements with the pressures of adolescence. Hiromi's struggle becomes both internal and external as she fights to understand Yumi's existence and reclaim her fractured sense of self.
