Asylum(2015)

Asylum is a satirical comedy inspired by true stories of high-profile asylum seekers. Dan Hern, a self-important government whistleblower, has been trapped in the London embassy of a fictional Latin American country for a year, growing increasingly bored and desperate. His only hope lies in securing an interview with the Guardian to revive his case. When embassy staff struggle to drum up interest in their annual ball, the Ambassador's son makes a calculated move: he offers sanctuary to Ludo Backslash, a flamboyant internet hacker and file-sharing pioneer now hunted by the global entertainment industry. Forced together in cramped diplomatic quarters, the serious whistleblower and the childish tech entrepreneur must navigate their unlikely coexistence while the embassy navigates the chaos of housing two of the world's most wanted men.
