Campus(2011)

Campus is a British sitcom that follows the chaotic staff at the fictional Kirke University. The ensemble cast includes the ruthless vice chancellor Jonty de Wolfe, the lazy and philandering English literature professor Matt Beer, and newly promoted mathematics lecturer Imogen Moffat. Created by Robert Harley, James Henry, and others, the show blends semi-improvised comedy with dark humour and surreal moments. It premiered as a pilot on Channel 4 in November 2009 before a full series launched in April 2011. Though some critics compared it unfavourably to Green Wing and found the humour offensive, others appreciated its edgy tone and absurdist sensibility. Campus was cancelled after one series due to low ratings, despite its cult appeal among fans of irreverent comedy.
