Cuore(1984)

Cuore is an Italian historical drama following Enrico Bottini, an engineering student called to serve as an officer when Italy enters war against Austria-Hungary. At a train station, he reunites with Garrone, a childhood friend from elementary school, triggering memories of the moral lessons shaped by his education and his father's guidance. The series explores themes of duty, friendship, and coming of age against the backdrop of early 20th-century Italy, as Bottini confronts the weight of his responsibilities and the values that will define his character in wartime.
