Diary is a Japanese drama series that follows Ayaka, an office worker whose life unravels when her mother falls into a coma. While caring for her hospitalized parent, Ayaka discovers a secret diary her mother kept with high school friends—one that reveals years of lies. Desperate for answers and with nothing left to lose, Ayaka travels to Kaga in Ishikawa Prefecture, her mother's hometown, to uncover the truth hidden in those pages.
