Happenstance is a series that bridges two eras when Wade and Jose Manuel mysteriously connect across time—one living in 1974, the other in 2020. Jose Manuel faces punishment from his military father after his relationship with activist Luis is discovered, while Wade is nursing a breakup with Eric when the COVID-19 pandemic traps her during a vacation.
