Scúp(2013)

Scúp is an Irish-language drama series set in Belfast around Rob Cullan, a journalist who abandons his prestigious job at an English newspaper under mysterious circumstances. Persuaded by the cunning newspaper proprietor Diarmuid Black to return to his hometown, Rob reluctantly agrees to help save the struggling Irish-language publication from collapse. The series explores his complicated homecoming as he navigates the demands of reviving a failing newspaper while confronting the secrets that drove him away. Balancing workplace pressures with personal demons, Rob must decide whether redemption is possible in the community he once left behind.
