Teachers Only(1982)

Teachers Only is an NBC sitcom that follows the faculty of a high school navigating classroom chaos and staff-room drama. The show relocated between seasons: the first centered on Millard Fillmore High in Los Angeles, while the second moved to Woodrow Wilson High in New York with a largely new cast. Norman Fell anchored both seasons as Principal Ben Cooper, while Lynn Redgrave shifted from English teacher to guidance counselor. The ensemble cast included Jean Smart and Teresa Ganzel, both of whom went on to notable television careers—Smart became famous for her role on Designing Women, and Ganzel became a fixture on 1980s game shows. Teachers Only aired for two seasons in 1982 and 1983, offering a lighthearted look at the professional and personal lives of high school educators.
