Through the Sight is a wartime drama set during the 1942 Great Patriotic War. When experienced sniper brothers Alexey and Yegor Broshin encounter elite German sniper Wengler on a mission, a deadly duel leaves Yegor dead and Alexey gravely wounded. After recovering in hospital, Alexey desperately seeks to return to combat, but military doctors declare him unfit for duty. Instead, command assigns him an unexpected role: training a group of young female cadets to become snipers. Struggling with grief and rage, Alexey pushes his recruits to their limits with harsh, sometimes brutal methods as he prepares them for the horrors of frontline warfare. The series explores duty, loss, and the cost of survival amid the brutal realities of World War II.
