The Rainbow Prince is a contemporary live-action fairy tale that reimagines Sleeping Beauty for young audiences. Rainbow, a prince whose skin changes color with his emotions, falls under a curse cast by an evil wizard bent on seizing the kingdom. The Mother of the Forest, a wise healer, awakens him temporarily for twenty-one years, but only true love's kiss can break the spell permanently. That kiss belongs to the Brown Princess, Marea, who must now save Rainbow and restore peace to the realm. This thirty-minute film subverts traditional fairy tale tropes, presenting children with fresh models of heroism and power that challenge conventional storytelling.
