Anemos(2021)

Anemos is a conceptual film that traces humanity's spiritual journey across history and geography, following the wind from ancient Magna Grecia through the Aeolian Islands, desert landscapes, and Cathar territories toward the Mediterranean. The film moves fluidly between natural and artificial spaces—from rocky hermitages to sprawling modern cities—observing how wind connects these worlds. As the narrative ascends into the stratosphere, it encounters Gaia, a cosmic entity that breathes universal air, with winds serving as her circulatory system and humanity's protector. The film culminates in apocalyptic imagery drawn from the Book of Revelation, as four angels seal the winds' passage. Anemos blends philosophy, geography, and mysticism into a meditative exploration of spirituality and our place within nature's grand cycles.
