La Gardav is a French comedy film following Mathieu, an ambitious young actor desperate to build his showreel. When his friend Ousmane offers him a role in a rap music video, Mathieu sees an opportunity to finally get footage for his reel. The shoot, however, quickly spirals into chaos. What should be a straightforward day on set becomes a series of mishaps and unexpected complications that test both the actors' patience and their friendship. The film captures the messy reality of independent filmmaking and the lengths struggling performers will go to land their big break, all with sharp humor and genuine heart.
