Sitting in the Fire follows Vaughn's journey after 24 years imprisoned at San Quentin, where he confronted the childhood trauma and violent impulses that shaped his past. Released back into his hometown of Richmond, California, Vaughn now works with the Office of Neighborhood Safety, a gun violence prevention and youth outreach program dedicated to healing the community he once harmed.
