Hôtel, Europe(2015)

Hôtel, Europe is a French film following Sofia, a Greek woman who has recently arrived in Paris seeking work. She takes a job as a night watchman at a construction site built on the ruins of a former luxury hotel, leaving her six-year-old son in her father's care back home. Isolated and struggling to find her place in the city, Sofia encounters an unusual stranger on the site who shares her sense of displacement. The film explores themes of alienation, belonging, and unexpected human connection against the backdrop of Paris's urban landscape. Sofia's nocturnal routine becomes a meditation on loneliness and the search for home in an unfamiliar world.
