Blood and Bones is a 1923-set drama following Kim Shun-Pei, a Korean teenager who immigrates from Cheju Island to Osaka, Japan. Over decades, he transforms into a ruthless factory owner, building a kamaboko processing business in the city's poor Korean-Japanese quarter. Driven by greed and cruelty, Shun-Pei exploits his workers relentlessly, accumulating wealth and power at their expense.
