The Chosen One(2007)

The Chosen One is a comedy film following Lou, a down-on-his-luck man who's lost his job, wrecked his car, and survived a bear attack. When an eccentric church leader declares him the prophesied savior destined to travel to Kansas and commune with God, Lou embarks on an absurd quest to save the world. Accompanied by his cantankerous roommate Zeb, scientist colleague Donna, and an unlikely demonic ally, Lou must navigate the chaos of his newfound destiny. The film blends dark humor with surreal situations as this misfit group attempts to prevent apocalypse, questioning whether Lou is truly chosen or simply catastrophically unlucky.
