Fast and Furious(1924)

Fast and Furious is a 1924 silent comedy starring Lige Conley as a man caught in a breakneck series of mishaps. Spencer Bell, an African-American character actor, plays Conley's sidekick in this installment of the "Mermaid" comedy series produced by Educational and Jack White. The film's second reel features an elaborate chase sequence that borrows heavily from Buster Keaton's comedic playbook, delivering slapstick gags and physical humor typical of the era's silent film comedy.
