23 Red is a dark comedy about a woman who runs an unconventional therapy practice, locking away her clients' phones and devices to help them rediscover what it means to be human. When Daniel arrives as her newest patient, he appears gentle and unassuming, and Jendal welcomes him into her world. But as their sessions unfold, the film explores the murky territory between good intentions and dangerous delusion, between what we think we deserve and what we're willing to do to get it. The film examines the psychology of "nice guys," regret, and the cost of disconnection in a world obsessed with screens.
