The Queen's Love is a courtly drama following a bridegroom arrested for his intimate involvement with the queen. To win his freedom, his future bride makes a desperate bargain: she sleeps with his rival. The film survives only as a fragment, missing its final act—a sequence in which the bride forges a letter of passage to murder her betrothed's rival, only to watch helplessly as her lover is executed when the forgery is discovered. A single rare hand-coloured scene remains intact, offering a glimpse into the film's original visual richness.
