The Temptation of Kimono(2009)

The Temptation of Kimono is a drama centered on Mikage, a woman preparing for marriage to Youiti. When she moves in with his family, she's assaulted by his father. The betrayal deepens when Mikage discovers that Youiti is having an affair with his young stepmother. Caught between trauma and disillusionment, Mikage must navigate the wreckage of her shattered expectations and decide her own path forward. The film explores themes of trust broken and the difficult choices that follow when those closest to us cause the deepest harm.
