¿Dónde están? is a documentary that investigates the aftermath of Mexico's Tlatelolco massacre on October 2, 1968. Rather than rehashing the historical event itself, the film seeks out the families left behind—the bereaved relatives whose stories have been largely ignored for nearly five decades. Despite being a pivotal moment in modern Mexican history, no researchers, historians, journalists, or government officials had systematically visited these families to hear their accounts. The documentary becomes a search for the forgotten voices and a reckoning with a nation's failure to acknowledge those most affected by the tragedy.
