Nephi and the Brass Plates(1987)

Nephi and the Brass Plates is a religious drama following the prophet Lehi as he flees persecution in Jerusalem after preaching repentance to its people. Commanded by the Lord to retrieve the brass plates—sacred records containing the books of Moses—Lehi sends his sons back into danger. Nephi and his brothers must summon their faith and courage to reclaim the plates from the corrupt Laban. Based on the Book of Mormon account of 1 Nephi 1–5, the film explores themes of obedience, sacrifice, and spiritual conviction as a family risks everything for their faith.
