Transmission is an Australian survival film set across the desolate highways of post-apocalyptic Western Australia. After an airborne pandemic decimates Perth's population, ten-year-old Tilly and her father Jim embark on a perilous journey toward Leonora, a rumored virus-free safe zone. Stranded in the harsh desert landscape, Tilly faces brutal lessons in survival—most unexpectedly, learning to drive. What begins as a desperate escape becomes an unconventional coming-of-age story, where a child must master skills no one should need to survive in a world transformed by catastrophe. The film explores the bonds forged through adversity and the resilience required when civilization collapses.
