Kaptan Feza(2010)

Kaptan Feza is a Turkish film about Ömer, a man who bears a striking resemblance to his father, a Yeşilçam actor. When he meets a young girl named Asu, she mistakes him for Captain Feza, a beloved space hero from classic Turkish cinema. Unbeknownly to Asu, Ömer is actually a puppet controlled by the mafia, caught in a dangerous world of crime and violence. Rather than shatter the girl's innocent fantasy, Ömer chooses to embody the heroic character she believes him to be. As he flees from those hunting him down, he struggles to preserve Asu's fragile imaginary world while fighting for his own survival. The film blends noir elements with magical realism, exploring themes of identity, sacrifice, and the power of imagination to transcend harsh reality.
