Carefree(2015)

Carefree follows Tara, a quirky and high-strung woman in her twenties, as she returns to her hometown for the first time in eight years. What begins as a homecoming quickly unravels into a series of awkward encounters and absurd situations that force her to confront an uncomfortable truth: while her small town has remained largely unchanged, she has transformed completely. The film mines comedy from the collision between Tara's evolved self and the static world she left behind, exploring themes of growth, nostalgia, and the impossibility of truly going home again. As familiar faces and places resurface, Tara must navigate the gap between who she was and who she's become, discovering that the real changes aren't always visible on the surface.
