Holiday Storm(1989)

Holiday Storm is a coming-of-age film set in East Berlin during the summer holidays. Thirteen-year-old Daniel embarks on a family trip to a mountain village, unaware that his parents are on the brink of divorce. They've kept their decision hidden, fearing his reaction. As the vacation unfolds, Daniel gradually discovers the truth about his parents' failing marriage. When a serious accident befalls the boy, it forces his parents to confront their problems and temporarily reunites them. The film explores how one family navigates the fragile balance between childhood innocence and adult complications, capturing both the vulnerability of adolescence and the possibility of reconciliation.
