Operation Snatch is a World War II comedy about a British officer tasked with protecting Gibraltar's legendary Barbary Apes. According to local legend, if the apes abandon the Rock, the British will lose control of it. When the officer notices the apes' morale declining, he devises an audacious plan: sneak behind German lines to kidnap a new ape and restore the troop's spirits. The stakes are high—if the Germans discover the apes' deteriorating condition, they'll seize the propaganda opportunity. What begins as a desperate military duty becomes an absurd adventure as the officer risks everything for a handful of primates and British pride.
