Trial(2016)

Trial is a sci-fi thriller about a quadriplegic soldier who undergoes an experimental mind transfer procedure promising him a second chance at life. After the operation, the corporal awakens in an unfamiliar section of the research facility with no memory of how he arrived there. Inexplicable time jumps begin occurring with increasing frequency, each one more disorienting than the last. As the jumps intensify and spiral beyond anyone's control, the soldier uncovers a horrifying truth about what the procedure has actually done to him. The film explores the dark consequences of cutting-edge neuroscience and the price of technological advancement when ethics are compromised.
